A two‐story buckling‐restrained brace (BRB) frame was tested under bidirectional in‐plane and out‐of‐plane loading to evaluate the BRB stability and gusset plate design. The test comprised pseudo‐dynamic loadings using the 1999 Chi‐Chi earthquake scaled to the 50%, 10%, and 2% probability of exceedance in 50 years and a cyclic regime of increasing amplitudes of up to 3.0% story drift ratio (SDR). The specimen had a unique configuration where the beams were connected to the columns through shear tabs welded to the column flanges and bolted to the beam webs. Stable hysteretic behavior with only minor cracking at the gusset‐to‐column welds was observed under the pseudo‐dynamic tests, with maximum in‐plane and out‐of‐plane SDRs of 2.24% and 1.47% respectively. Stable behavior continued into the cyclic test where fracture of the gusset‐to‐column welds occurred in the first cycle to simultaneous bidirectional SDR of 3.0%. The observed BRB stability is consistent with a methodology developed for BRB frames under simultaneous in‐plane and out‐of‐plane drifts. The specimen behavior was studied using a finite element model. It was shown that gusset plates are subjected to a combination of BRB force and frame action demands, with the latter increasing the gusset‐to‐beam and gusset‐to‐column interface demands by an average of 69% and 83% respectively. Consistent with the test results, failure at the gusset‐to‐column interfaces is computed when frame action demands are included, thus confirming that not considering frame action demands may results in unconservative gusset plate designs. 为研究结构性花岗岩残积土的剪切屈服特性,对未扰动和重塑花岗岩残积土及作比较的掺水泥的重塑土进行了一系列不同围压下的三轴排水对比试验。结果表明,未扰动花岗岩残积土与掺水泥重塑土在剪切过程中的屈服点可以从归一化的剪切切向刚度 与轴向应变 在双对数坐标下的关系曲线中确定;固结压力 对未扰动残积土与掺水泥重塑土的屈服特性都有显著影响, 越大,等向固结作用对土体结构的破坏越严重,剪切开始阶段的初始归一化刚度会相应地越小,屈服时的轴向应变也越小;当固结压力达到足够大时,土体结构被等向固结作用完全破坏,剪切过程中没有结构性屈服现象发生, 曲线与重塑土的 曲线重合;重塑土在不同固结压力下的 曲线重叠,不随固结压力而变化,剪切过程中没有结构性屈服现象发生。 相似文献

以福州地铁1号线盾构隧道下穿洗马桥的桩基主动托换工程为依托,针对桥梁上部结构-桩身-土体三者共同组成的复杂超静定结构,运用数值模拟方法和现场实测数据,分析了在不同顶升荷载作用下复杂超静定结构的内力与位移响应,重点讨论了托换过程中上、下部结构的相对刚度及其对顶升荷载的影响;根据顶升荷载作用点以下桩身轴力接近0的条件,确定了桥墩盖梁与薄壁桥台梁两种典型工况下的桩基顶升荷载分别为1 800 kN和2 600 kN。现场监测结果表明,顶升过程中上部结构的位移值和桩身轴力变化值,均与计算结果吻合较好。在此基础上,提出基于上、下部结构刚度比的顶升荷载简化计算方法,研究结果可为类似复杂超静定结构的桩基主动托换工程提供参考和借鉴。 相似文献

The method of ion chromatographic analysis was used to analyze major salt induced diseases of wall paintings in Moni Temple of Longxing Temple, and the non-destructive testing methods included electrical resistivity tomography, microwave moisture measurement, thermal infrared imaging and temperature and humidity monitor were applied to survey the source water vapor source. The results showed as follows: NaCl is head fact induced disease; there are latent areaways in walls and buddha stage; at the same time, the temperature difference between the lesion area and the surrounding murals accelerates the velocity of water vapor migration; the main water vapor source is water vapor in the air of Moni Temple and atmospheric rainfall. 相似文献

针对深部工程岩体开挖时围岩内部应力状态复杂变化的特点,研制了可实现主应力量值变化和应力主轴旋转等复杂应力路径的岩石空心圆柱扭剪试验系统,可用于开展复杂应力作用下岩石的强度、变形和破坏形态的室内试验研究。介绍了该试验系统的基本结构、工作原理及技术参数。该试验系统具有如下特点:(1)通过利用空心圆柱试样与上、下压头的特点,克服了岩石试样扭矩施加的技术困难,将施加轴向力和扭矩的两个加载轴合二为一,彻底解决了轴向力加载与扭矩施加机构之间相互影响的技术难题。(2)通过采用新型自平衡加载三轴室,实现了轴向力、扭矩、内围压和外围压4种荷载的独立施加和控制。(3)采用应力与流量的加载控制方式,并通过软件集成,实现了主应力量值改变和应力主轴旋转耦合应力路径的准确模拟以及加载过程的稳定控制。(4)该试验系统结构简单,功能多样,操作方便。采用该试验系统进行了初步试验,验证了试验系统的可行性与实用性,表明该试验系统具有实现应力主轴旋转及主应力量值改变的复杂应力路径的功能。 相似文献

Real‐time hybrid testing combines experimental testing and numerical simulation, and provides a viable alternative for the dynamic testing of structural systems. An integration algorithm is used in real‐time hybrid testing to compute the structural response based on feedback restoring forces from experimental and analytical substructures. Explicit integration algorithms are usually preferred over implicit algorithms as they do not require iteration and are therefore computationally efficient. The time step size for explicit integration algorithms, which are typically conditionally stable, can be extremely small in order to avoid numerical stability when the number of degree‐of‐freedom of the structure becomes large. This paper presents the implementation and application of a newly developed unconditionally stable explicit integration algorithm for real‐time hybrid testing. The development of the integration algorithm is briefly reviewed. An extrapolation procedure is introduced in the implementation of the algorithm for real‐time testing to ensure the continuous movement of the servo‐hydraulic actuator. The stability of the implemented integration algorithm is investigated using control theory. Real‐time hybrid test results of single‐degree‐of‐freedom and multi‐degree‐of‐freedom structures with a passive elastomeric damper subjected to earthquake ground motion are presented. This paper presents the results of in situ measurements during dynamic pile testing at a construction site in Louvain-la-Neuve. Main objectives are the investigation of the pile response and the free field vibrations due to low strain dynamic loading on a single cast in situ pile with a 5.5 kg hammer impact on the pile head. Whereas low strain testing is usually performed to assess the integrity of the pile as a structural member, this study focuses on both pile and ground vibrations. The pile head response and ground motions are measured with accelerometers during different blows with the impact hammer. The dynamic characteristics of the soil are determined with a SASW test. Experimental results are compared with predictions obtained with a coupled finite element–boundary element model. The computed pile head and free field response show a good correspondence with the measured response. In addition, the static stiffness of the pile estimated by means of the mobility function shows a very good agreement with the value calculated by an analytical formulation. 相似文献
